How does the app measure distance?
Golf True Distance uses your phone's location data to calculate the distance to the pin. For the best result, allow location access and use the app with a clear view of the sky.
Why is the distance incorrect?
Make sure location access is allowed for the app and Location Services are enabled in Settings. Walk a few steps and wait briefly for your position to update.
Does the app work on every golf course?
The app can be used on courses where map and location data is available. If a course is missing or looks incorrect, send us its name and we will investigate.
Does the app use a lot of battery?
Location data can affect battery life during a longer round. For the best balance, close apps you do not need and start your round with a charged phone.
How do I report a problem?
Email hello@trueai.se with a short description of the issue. Screenshots, the course name and your phone model are helpful when relevant.
